Distance Learning Nutritional Therapy Courses for Practice

Our distance learning courses are designed to offer you as much flexibility as possible and at all times we endeavour to tailor your studies to your own personal interests and requirements.

The courses listed below offer a natural progression through to becoming a successful Nutritional Therapist
(click here for clarification of the differing roles of nutritional therapists, nutritionists and dieticians).   Each stage is, however, designed to be complete in itself, offering a valued qualification upon its successful completion (with the exception of the introductory chemistry course).

Foundation Courses:

Diploma Courses

Introduction to Chemistry

Basic Health Sciences

Anatomy & Physiology

Dietary Therapy

Nutritional Therapy

Advanced Nutritional Therapy

Before commencing any of our courses, we ask you to complete a short telephone interview to ensure that the course you have selected is the most appropriate one for you.

If you are interested in studying nutrition and health, but unsure whether entering into practise is for you, then we suggest beginning your study programme at Level 1, Basic Health Sciences.

For those wishing to study nutrition purely for personal interest we suggest that you consider our new 'Short Course in Basic Nutrition & Health' or the ‘Short Course in Further Nutrition’, which covers many aspects of the Basic Health Sciences Diploma, without the clinical content (the application of knowledge in a practitioner setting - see individual course details for more information).  A number of students also opt for working through the main programme, so depending on your level of interest and commitment you may wish to enrol at the beginning on the introductory chemistry or at Level 1, Basic Health Sciences.

Our courses appeal to people from all walks of life
